Michael J. Gordillo

An accomplished trial lawyer, Michael Gordillo has tried more than 100 cases, including more than 30 jury trials. He began his career as an Assistant Prosecutor for Cuyahoga County in Ohio. In 2005, Mike left the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office to join his brother Greg and create the law firm of Gordillo & Gordillo, LLC in Cleveland. At the same time, Mike was also appointed as the Prosecutor for North Olmsted, Ohio. Since then, Mike has dedicated his practice to criminal law and employment law. As a municipal prosecutor has handled countless cases involving misdemeanor criminal matters. As the partner primarily responsible for criminal defense matters handled by Gordillo & Gordillo LLC, Mike uses his law enforcement knowledge and experience to serve clients facing criminal charges across in courts all over Northeast Ohio.

In addition to handling criminal matters, Mike has litigated numerous employment cases since 2005. He has co-authored papers presented at employment law seminars in Ohio, Arkansas, Montana, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, South Dakota, and Wyoming. In 2007, he was awarded the Ohio Employment Lawyers Association scholarship for devoted new employment lawyers. He is a member of the Ohio Employment Lawyers Association, the Cleveland Employment Lawyers Association, and the Northeast Ohio Municipal Prosecutors Association.

Michael graduated from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 2000 and from The Ohio State University in 1995. He is admitted to all Ohio Courts and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
